Class of 1956 Scholarship
$1000 1-time award
-
Duncan High School graduate with GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, minimum; ACT composite score of 21 or equivalent SAT score
-
Leadership, character, and participation in school and community activities are qualities that will be given serious consideration
-
Preference given to students who have not amassed a large amount of scholarship funds (i.e. Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education Academic Scholarship or its equivalent)
-
Priority given to applicants with financial need: family income between $25,000 and $90,000
DPSF General Scholarship
$7,500 4-year award ($1,875 annually/$937.50 per semester)

Duncan High School graduate with overall 3.00 GPA, minimum

Character, leadership and participation in school activities are qualities that will be given serious consideration
-
Must attend an Oklahoma college or university offering a four (4) year curriculum.

Must maintain overall 3.00 cumulative GPA
Evette LaParche Freeman Scholarship
$1,200 1-time award
-
Duncan High School graduate with overall 3.00 GPA, minimum
-
Preference will be given to students who plan to pursue a career in the field of nursing

Must attend an accredited college or university (not necessarily a four (4) year curriculum, but may not be a vocational-technical school.)
Gene Nelson Family Scholarship
$4,000 2-year award ($2,000 annually/$1,000 per semester)

Duncan High School graduate with overall 2.75 GPA, minimum

Strong moral character, leadership and participation in school and community activities are qualities that will be given serious consideration

Must attend an Oklahoma state-supported college or university offering a four (4) year curriculum

Must maintain overall 2.75 cumulative GPA
Helen Kuhn Scholarship
$10,000 4-year awards ($2,500 annually/$1,250 per semester)

Duncan High School graduate with overall 3.25 GPA, minimum

Strong moral character, leadership and participation in school activities are qualities that will be given serious consideration in selection

Must attend an Oklahoma state-supported college or university offering a four (4) year curriculum

Must maintain overall 3.00 cumulative GPA
Katherine Ann Hruby Scholarship
$3,000 1-time award

Woman Duncan High School graduate with overall 3.25 GPA, ACT of 24 or SAT equivalent

Character, leadership and participation in school activities are qualities that will be given serious consideration in selection

Preference may be given to students playing on the DHS Girls Volleyball Team (preferred, but not exclusive)

Must attend a college or university offering a four (4) year curriculum
Kenneth R. & Juliette Woodward Scholarship
$10,000 4-year award ($2,500 annually/$1,250 per semester)

Duncan High School graduate with overall 3.25 GPA, minimum; ACT composite score of 27, or equivalent SAT

Character, leadership and participation in school activities are qualities that will be given serious consideration in selection

McEnroe Family Scholarship
$6,000 4-year award ($1,500 annually/$750 per semester)

Duncan High School graduate with overall 3.25 GPA, minimum ACT composite score of 25 or equivalent SAT score

Satisfactory personal character, leadership and participation in school activities are qualities that will be given serious consideration in selection

Must attend a college or university offering a four (4) year curriculum

Must maintain overall 3.00 GPA

Opal S. Lowry Scholarship
$8,000 4-year awards ($2,000 annually/$1,000 per semester)

Duncan High School graduate with overall 3.00 GPA, minimum

Must attend a Vocational-technical school accredited by the State Dept. of Career & Technology Education; and/or, Accredited college or university offering a four (4) year curriculum

Must maintain overall 3.00 cumulative GPA

$10,000 4-year awards ($2,500 annually/$1,250 per semester)

Must attend Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma

Must maintain 2.50 Cumulative GPA

$1,500 1-Time award

Graduating seniors of Duncan High School who plan to attend a college or university offering a four-year curriculum

Recipient shall be selected based on scholastic achievement, and must have a minimum overall high school GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
-
Recipient must demonstrate leadership, character, attendance, study habits, dedication to learning and participation in school and community activities

Mary Louise Slaughter Koeninger Memorial Scholarship
$1000 1-time award

Duncan High School graduate with no minimum required GPA

Interested in pursuing STEM or Art
-
Preference is given to financially disadvantaged

Citizenship, and community involvement

Barnes & Woolf Scholarship
$12,000 ($3,000 annually)

Duncan High School graduate with a cumulative 3.0 GPA, minimum

Must attend accredited Oklahoma college or university
-
Available to students pursuing a degree in education, health profession, engineering, or math/accounting

Character, leadership, and participation in school activities are qualities that will be given serious consideration in the selection
